Little Big Planet 2

LittleBigPlanet2LittleBigPlanet 2 is the sequel to the original LittleBigPlanet and it is currently available for the PS3. It is an uber modern game that features a great story mode and seemingly endless re-playability. The original game allowed users to craft their own levels to play in the platform version. This newer model, released to the European market in January of 2011 after some delays, allows gamers to craft entire games, not just tweak the one already presented to them (although they can do that too).

Nearly anything is possible with the LBP2 toolset, and gamers will be able to make anything from mods to concerts with the powerful toolbox. One gamer has already taken the time to do an impressive remake of Zelda, and he is in pretty good company. Wolfenstein and the old Marvel vs. Capcom have both also been remade for the PS3 using LBP2 tools. There is seemingly nothing it can’t do and is limited only by the imagination. Check it out here or snap one up and start modding your own classic.
