Of all the things that Nintendo has brewing, one of its highlights during the recent 2011 Game Developers Conference were screenshots of the pending release Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.
The remake of the original Ocarina of Time in 3D is one of the pilot projects for the new Nintendo 3DS, and producers are hoping to capitalize on the popularity of the classic Zelda franchise, which has been running for twenty-five years…having just celebrated a birthday.
While gamers have already likely poured hours of their time (gaining hundreds of grey hairs) into the original 1998 release of the Ocarina of Time on N64 and GameCube, the screenshots of the 3D version might just lure them all back for another play.
