Converse - Super Mario Bros
There have been a lot of ads, toys, memorabilia…even a game…put on the market in 2011, all to commemorate Super Mario’s 25th anniversary. If you think you have completed your collection of 25th Anniversary, old school Mario goodness, you are wrong if you can’t look at your own feet and smile.
Converse, renowned for their Chuck Taylor All Stars high top tennis shoe ala the seventies and eighties, is set to produce these rubber and canvas classics (which first appeared in 1917) with a great Mario theme.
The All-Stars (usually referred to as Chucks or Chuckie Ts) were announced in April and are set to go on sale in July. They feature pictures of Mario all over them, but are otherwise classic Cons. Available in black or white canvas, these are sure to lighten the feet of the classic gamer.
