What? Why not? Weirder things have happened. Actually, there was no melding of these two completely different but totally cool universes except for in the brains of the gaming humor addicts at Dorkly.

In this list of seven “Magic the Gathering” cards, the world can see what it would be like to have some of the best Mortal Kombat characters in your deck. Complete with color coding to reflect the nature of the cards and characters, these fictitious cards also feature special moves disguised as card bonuses and occasional quotes that also reflect that character’s nature.

One of the most brilliant parts of the card is the “creature type” slot. Some of the MK characters are easy to categorize, such as Ninja (Sub-Zero), Monk (Kung Lao) or Soldier (Sonya Blade). However, what exactly is Goro? Apparently Dorkly didn’t know either. Check out the entire list here.
