Fans of the ZX Spectrum probably are familiar with this zippy title. Currently most popular as an emulator for the ZX Spectrum on PC, Spectaculator has just taken the next step in mobile emulation.
Now available in the itunes app store, Spectaculator has been made available for the Apple iPhone. There is even a small library of retro games available for play on it, such as Dynamite Dan, The Fantastic Mister Fruity and Albatrossity. They come pre-loaded with the application.
The emulator has some great features to improve the authenticity of play, including a setting that customizes the speed of game loading…ala 1982. It offers save states and even a replicated ZX Spectrum keyboard. Read more about it at Spectaculator, or order yours here.
