Classic games from all platforms had some things in common that made them loved when they were new and continue to earn them love now that they are not. Great game play, progressive ideas and novel plots, and of course—ear worm tunes that people could never get out of their heads.
Enter the unique group Press Play On Tape. This Commodore 64 revival band converts music from the old eighties C64 home computer to real rock and roll music with live instruments and funky riffs. Six guys from Copenhagen combine with two guitars, two keyboards, a bass and a drum set to make this interesting music that is a sure nostalgia boost for gamers of the eighties.
Press Play on Tape met at the Computer Science Department at the University of Copenhagen and have been jamming ever since. While previously working in the computer games industry, this group may have found their true calling with these clever tunes.
