Meet Marcus Berry. He isn’t crazy. But his Mega Drive collection is crazy. Crazy cool, that is. Berry had great memories of the Sega system while growing up and chose to avidly pursue all of the PAL titles in his adult life. That is a lot of games. There are over five hundred games in the original catalogue and Berry has less than seventy to go to complete the collection.
While searching for his collection additions, Berry utilizes local gaming shops, bargain bins, sales and the Retro Collect gaming community on YouTube. People are always looking out to help him out, and he states that he has found some real deals.
Now, his remaining titles are more challenging. Finding them at a price he is willing to pay may not come so easily and with so few titles left to find, running across one by happenstance is much less likely. He is prepared to turn to the auction site eBay if the need arises.
When he completes this collection, he is considering delving into the PAL Sega Master System library, which numbers almost 300 games. Since he never owned the console as a child, he feels this gaming library will have a lot of “fresh material” to offer him.
