In 1992, Bethesda Softworks began the development of what would become an amazing role-playing video gaming franchise in the Elder Scrolls. With the unique ability to “choose-your-own-adventure,” video gamers flocked to the first classic title Elder Scrolls: Arena, and the ensuing sequels, such as Daggerfall in 1996.

Now, after over a decade and a half, Bethesda, in conjunction with a faction of the Random House Publishing Company, has announced that best-selling author Greg Keyes will be writing a new series of novels based on the Elder Scrolls world.
