Flashback to the Flashback 3

ATGames has announced a green light for its “new old” home video gaming console, the Flashback 3. This device, similar to other that came before it, is a plug and play machine similar to the more modern versions of the SEGA Mega Drive.

Retro gamers were admittedly pretty excited to learn that Atari’s Greatest Hits was being offered on iOS, the operating system for devices such as the iPad or iPhone. That would stand to reason, since the compilation application offered classic games such as Pong, Tempest, and Centipede, along with over one hundred other old school titles.

Double Dragon to iPad

In March 2011, Double Dragon Reboot was launched for the iPad and iPhone. Many retro fans will definitely recall this classic title from the coin ops. It was eventually ported to most every major home gaming console, including the NES, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and the ZX Spectrum. Further, it was made into a movie.
